Principal advises importance of extracurricular activities; students felicitated at college event

Principal C.K. Kotrappa advised students to give importance to extracurricular activities like sports, literature, and music, rather than being limited to academic activities. During the inauguration of the current year's cultural, sports, National Service Scheme, Rovers, and Youth Red Cross units at the government pre-university college in the town, he spoke. Students like C.V. Dheeraj, N. Mylarappa, Ravikumar, Akash, Pawan, Santosh Kumar, Darshan, Chandu, Avinash, and Hemant, who are from the state award-winning Chinmooladri Rovers unit, were honored. Additionally, M. Prakashwini, a B.Sc. (II) student who won ₹ 5,000 cash prize in the quiz competition, and T. Divya, a B.Com. (III) student who scored 100 marks in the Basics of Business, were felicitated.
