Bengaluru's Prahlad Rao sets record with over 52,000 crosswords

E. A. N. Prahlad Rao, a 74-year-old Bengaluru resident, is known as the 'magician of Kannada crosswords.' He has created over 52,000 crosswords over the last five decades. Rao started his interest in crosswords while studying at a government college in Kolar between 1972 and 1975. He began creating crosswords seriously after joining the news department and coming to Bengaluru around 1984.
