Police investigation concluded that Pooja Datta's death was due to illness, not foul play. The Adugodi Police Station conducted an investigation into the death of Pooja Datta (34) from Jharkhand, who was found deceased in her rented house in Adugodi. The final report submitted to the court, based on the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) and post-mortem report, stated that the primary cause of death was pulmonary failure and blood clotting in the body's nerves, not assault. The report also noted that the deceased was suffering from severe mental depression. Pooja Datta was working at a software company on Hosur Road and resided in a rented house in Munikrishnappa Layout near Adugodi.
