Police intensify crackdown on illegal arms network following lawyer's death in Bengaluru

Following the murder of a lawyer in Whitefield, Bengaluru, police have intensified their investigation into the illegal arms supply network. The incident, which involved a domestically built pistol, has raised concerns about the availability of illegal weapons in the city. Bengaluru city police Commissioner Seemanth Kumar Singh stated that screening and review processes will be increased to locate those involved in the illegal arms trade. He also stated that strict action will be taken to dismantle the supply network and locate the source of illegal weapons.
