Police disperse protest near Town Hall after detaining 75–80 people over SIR concerns

Police detained and later released approximately 75 to 80 people on Saturday evening near Town Hall in Bengaluru. The protest was against the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list. According to activists, police used force to clear the protesters from the spot. The police stated that permission for the protest was denied on Friday, and those gathered at Town Hall on Saturday evening were instructed to move to Freedom Park.
