Pavitra Gowda sheds tears before judge; lawyer raises concerns about alleged torture and threats in jail

During the hearing of Pavitra Gowda's bail application at the Sessions Court in Bengaluru, her lawyer N. Balan brought to the court's attention the alleged mental torture and suffering she is facing in jail. Pavitra Gowda, who participated via video conference, was also seen shedding tears before the judges. She stated that she is facing torture and that she is being threatened with poison, requesting a separate cell in the 35-person barracks.
