Palliative care services for cancer patients provided at home in Bengaluru

The Kidwai Memorial Institute announced that palliative care services are being provided at the doorsteps of cancer patients in Bengaluru. According to Dr. R. Krishnappa, the Director of the institute, the facility helps those who cannot come to the hospital for treatment. The institute's Pain Relief and Palliative Care Department organized an awareness program in the city on the 10th. The institute has also incorporated yoga and music therapy into palliative care to manage physical pain and improve the mental health of patients.
