Organic papaya farming yields high profit for young farmer in Vijayapura district

A young farmer in Garasanghi village, Kolhara taluk, Vijayapura district, is achieving good income through organic papaya farming. He reports earning ₹6 lakh profit from one acre and is inspiring other farmers to adopt papaya cultivation. The farmer, Akhilgauda Rudragouda Patil, cultivated papaya on his 13-acre land, earning lakhs of rupees and noting that the market for papaya is available everywhere, including Bengaluru.
