Opportunity for Griha Jyothi beneficiaries to submit documents by October 31

Beneficiaries of the Griha Jyothi scheme can now submit documents at their nearest BESCOM sub-division office until October 31. This extension allows those who could not participate in the door-to-door verification, including residents of locked or vacant homes. BESCOM stated that the government has provided this opportunity so that eligible beneficiaries are not deprived of the free electricity benefit.
