Official order issued for release of two years' arrears to state weather scientists

Water Resources Minister N. Chalavarayanaswamy stated that an official order has been issued for the release of two years' arrears to state weather scientists, who had been without arrears for the last two years. He said that the weather scientists informed him that their lives were in difficulty because the payment of arrears had been stopped for two years. He added that the department's senior officials approved the payment of the entire two years' arrears and issued an official order for its complete release.
