New Ring Road for Bengaluru Periphery: STRR Ready for Seamless Connectivity to Hoskote, Sarjapur, and Devanahalli

The 280 km 'Satellite Town Ring Road' (STRR) project, designed to ease traffic congestion in central Bengaluru and connect major peripheral sub-towns, is progressing in phases. The ring-shaped, entry-controlled expressway (NH-948A) is being built by NHAI at an estimated cost of ₹14,655 crore. This network connects key sub-towns including Hoskote, Devanahalli, Doddaballapura, Nelamangala, Anekal, and Sarjapur, creating a major 'outer transport network' for Bengaluru.
