New 'e-Aasthi 2.0' System Launched for Property Record Management in Bengaluru

The Greater Bengaluru Development Minister, Krishna Biregounda, launched the new technology-based 'e-Aasthi 2.0' system on Monday to simplify and transparentize property record management within the Greater Bengaluru Authority. The system, which incorporates Artificial Intelligence (AI), aims to curb corruption and help the public obtain e-Khata easily. The minister stated that out of more than 35 lakh properties in Bengaluru, draft khata records have already been digitized and distributed for over 23-24 lakh properties, and approximately 11 lakh property owners have received their final e-Khata.
