New 'CMP' Plan with ₹1 Lakh Crore Infrastructure Projects to Ease Bengaluru Traffic

The state government has initiated a major project to ease severe traffic congestion and improve infrastructure in Bengaluru. The Urban Land Transport Directorate (DULT) is set to prepare and unveil a new 'Comprehensive Mobility Plan' within the next year. This new CMP aims to integrate various large projects, including tunnel roads and over 12 new flyovers, which are currently at various stages of approval, with the city's revised master plan.
