Namma Metro Pink Line expected to start operations in two weeks; Railway Board approves BEML trainsets

The Namma Metro Pink Line is nearing completion, with preliminary operations or service expected within the next two weeks. The Railway Board has also granted official approval for the new trainsets, suggesting the line could be inaugurated in mid-October. The first phase, an elevated route from Kalanagrahara (Bannerghatta Road) to Tavarekere (Swagath Cross), will be publicly accessible. This 7.5 km elevated section includes 6 stations: Kalanagrahara, Hulimavu, IIIBM, J.P. Nagar 4th Stage, Jayadeva Hospital (with interchange facility for Yellow Line), and Tavarekere.
