Nagarnjuna and Udayashankara selected for 2026 Rashtrakavi Kuvempu and other awards

The Maiko Kannada Balaga is presenting the 2026 Rashtrakavi Kuvempu Award to Ha.Ma. Nagarnjuna, a professor from Sahyadri College in Shivamogga, and the Reverend Ferdinand Kittell Memorial Award to Udayashankara Puranik, an AI and security expert. The selection was made by a committee including Padmamini Nagaraju, Honorary President of the Balaga, Sri Ramatirtha, and other office bearers. The awards include a memento and a ₹10,000 cash prize and will be presented during the Karnataka Rajyotsava program at the Bidadi Bosch unit on November 2.
