Minister Krishna Byre Gowda clarifies 'special session' mistake over Kasturirangan report

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Krishna Byre Gowda stated on Monday that it was his mistake to title the special discussion on the Kasturirangan report and drought situation as a 'special session' of the legislature. Following objections from treasury benches, Gowda clarified that the discussion should be considered a special discussion. Ashoka subsequently withdrew his motion. The BJP also managed to block RDPR Minister Eshwar Khandre from speaking on the report.
