Minister Krishna Biregowda holds public consultation on Bengaluru's waste management issues

Greater Bengaluru Authority held a public consultation with Minister Krishna Biregowda today at Nehru Taralaya to address the waste management issues in Bengaluru. The Minister stated that the city faces waste problems and traffic congestion, and the government is working on solutions for cleanliness, street lights, footpaths, and Khata issues. He also noted that only 2,000 out of approximately 48,000 bulk generators are officially tied up, while the remaining generators are providing waste to local collectors.
