Milk Producers' Federation Urges CM to Increase Nandini Milk Prices

The Karnataka State Cooperative Milk Producers' Federation submitted a request to Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar to increase the purchase and sale price of Nandini milk by ₹8 to ₹10 per liter. The Federation met with Shivakumar at Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday for discussions. Federation President B. K. Suresh stated that the cost of milk production has increased significantly due to rising costs of fodder, feed, and medicine. He also noted that the current selling price in Karnataka is at least ₹12 lower compared to neighboring states.
