Milk Cooperative Union requests increase in Nandini milk price by ₹8 to ₹10

The Milk Cooperative Union submitted a request to Chief Minister D K Shivakumar to increase the purchase and sale price of Nandini milk by ₹8 to ₹10 per liter. The union met with Shivakumar at Vidhana Soudha on Tuesday for consultation. During the meeting, the Chief Minister instructed officials to provide comprehensive information, including the increase in cattle feed prices over the last 10 years, the cost of producing one liter of milk, the quantity of milk in various districts, and details of milk purchase and sale prices in neighboring states.
