Metro service disrupted after person falls onto tracks in Bengaluru

Metro services were disrupted on the Namma Metro Lilac Line between Deepanjali Nagar and Mysore Road stations on Monday. The disruption occurred after a person fell onto the tracks, having been away from the station around 8:15 PM. BMRL officials stated that the metro train collision was narrowly avoided when the incident came to the attention of metro staff. Services resumed after 8:30 PM, temporarily halting trains between Vijayanagar and Challaghatta.
