Mandatory site inspection required after LED street light installation in Bengaluru

Greater Bengaluru Development Minister Krishna Bairegounda instructed officials that mandatory site inspections must be conducted by relevant city corporation officials after the completion of LED street light installations in the city. He directed that officials must ensure the quality and functionality of the LED street lights through site inspections and that penalties should be imposed on contractors if the lights are not installed or functioning properly. The minister also directed that the installation work must be completed in remaining areas by October 31 and that measures must be taken to convert sodium lamps to LED lamps within the East City Corporation limits.
