Man trampled to death by elephant near BM Kaval forest in Bengaluru South

A 60-year-old man was trampled to death by an elephant early Monday morning (September 28) at Malhar Avenue, near Rajarajeshwari Medical College on Mysuru Road. The incident occurred when the man was walking with his daughter. Forest, Ecology and Environment Minister Ramalinga Reddy visited the hospital and announced Rs 20 lakh to the family of the deceased. The department has issued warnings to people in the area not to venture out during late evenings and early mornings.
