Man arrested in Bengaluru for alleged sexual assault of minor daughter

Police arrested a 30-year-old man on Bengaluru's southern outskirts on Monday for allegedly sexually assaulting his eight-year-old hearing-impaired daughter. Harohalli police registered a case under the POCSO Act, 2012, last week. The suspect, who came to Bengaluru from Bihar two months ago, was subsequently arrested and remanded to judicial custody.
