Mahesh Pai appointed MD & CEO of South Indian Bank

Mahesh Muralidhar Pai assumed office as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of South Indian Bank on Thursday, according to a press release. The bank stated that Pai has nearly three decades of experience in various fields of banking, including strategy, administration, digital banking, treasury, foreign exchange, retail banking, agriculture, and MSME loan facilities. Pai previously served as the Chief General Manager of Canara Bank and also worked in the foreign operations division of Canara Bank in New York.
