Lokayukta raid uncovers ₹23.24 crore in unaccounted assets from 8 government officials

Lokayukta police conducted simultaneous raids on 8 government officials' residences and offices across various locations in the state. The raids, which took place on Tuesday, uncovered assets worth a total of ₹23.24 crore, including cash, gold ornaments, and liquor bottles. The assets were found across 33 locations in Bengaluru, Bengaluru South, Chikkaballapur, Mandya, Kodagu, Kalaburagi, Dharwad, and Bidar districts. Investigations have been launched against the 8 officials under the Prevention of Corruption Act at the respective district Lokayukta Police Stations.
