Lokayukta issues notices to civic officials over garbage mismanagement in Bengaluru

The Karnataka Lokayukta has issued notices to senior civic officials regarding alleged lapses in solid waste collection and disposal in West Bengaluru. Officials must appear before the Lokayukta on October 5 at 3:30 pm to explain the noted lapses. The Lokayukta found garbage dumped indiscriminately along roadsides and poor sanitation in areas including Vijayanagar, RPC Layout, and Shamanna Garden.
