Lions President Malleshappa praises confidence and new spirit among differently-abled

At the free artificial limb fitting camp in Jaipur, Malleshappa Arakeri, President of the Lions Club, stated that helping the vulnerable in society is as important as building good roads and buildings for a country to develop. The camp, held at the Lions High School Auditorium on Madeleary Road, Bengaluru, was organized by the Karnataka Marwadi Youth Federation and the Bengaluru and Ranebennur Lions Clubs in memory of the late Prema Malleshappa Arakeri. A team of expert doctors examined 120 people, and artificial limbs were fitted to 63 people, which Malleshappa said has brought new confidence among the differently-abled.
