KPSC veterinary paper leak: Candidates allegedly paid ₹30–40 lakh, given questions to memorize a day before exam

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) investigation into the alleged KPSC veterinary doctors’ recruitment exam paper leak found that candidates who paid ₹30 lakh to ₹40 lakh each for selection were taken to a resort near Bengaluru. There, they were given the leaked recruitment examination paper with correct answers and made to memorize them. The ED stated that the principal accused, Basavaraj Kannale, obtained the paper through former KPSC Controller of Examinations Gyanendra Kumar Gangwar. The investigation is probing the money trail under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002, based on multiple FIRs registered at the Vidhana Soudha police station in Bengaluru.
