KPSC to transition main exam question papers to online format
The Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) has decided to transition the main examination question papers for Gazetted Probationary posts to an online format. The commission plans to adopt this system for other main examinations conducted in the future. This move involves implementing the highest security measures for the recruitment of 319 Gazetted Probationary posts, for which 1.47 lakh candidates applied. The commission is also introducing a fifth option (unanswered) in the preliminary exams, requiring candidates to mark it if they do not know the correct answer among four options. The process involves developing an internal 'Question Paper Transfer' software, allowing candidates to download randomly generated question papers from a 'Question Bank' after being seated in the examination center.
