KIV President T.Narayana Gowda accused Mohan Das Pai of being 'Shakuni' in Karnataka, stating he is working to ruin Kannadigas. KIV activists have started a data collection campaign in Bengaluru to gather information from 112 IT-BIT companies regarding employment for Kannadigas. The campaign has given companies a week to provide documentation on the number of Kannadigas employed. T.Narayana Gowda also mentioned that Infosys has provided employment to 60% Kannadigas, and that 20-25% of Kannadigas have received jobs in the collected companies.
