Kidwai Memorial Institute reports 349 childhood cancer cases and 56 deaths in Bengaluru in 2025

The Kidwai Memorial Institute of Oncology revealed that 349 childhood cancer cases and 56 deaths were estimated in Bengaluru in 2025. The institute also noted that 40.3% of cases were leukemia in boys and 34.3% in girls. The institute advised parents to consult a doctor if children show symptoms like persistent fever, skin whitening, easy bleeding, headache, vomiting, weight loss, or continuous weakness.
