Karnataka State Government Employees Union announces nominations for annual service awards

The Karnataka State Government Employees Union has decided to give the 'Government Employee Service Award' every November and has invited nominations. C.S. Shadakshari, the state unit president of the union, stated that employees can only nominate others, not themselves. The awards are for permanent employees of Group A, B, C, and D cadres of the state government, who must have completed a minimum of 5 years of service and paid the union's annual fee of ₹200. A total of 271 awards, valued at ₹54.20 lakh, will be given, including 10 awards of ₹20,000 cash for Bengaluru city limits, 62 awards of ₹20,000 cash for district headquarters/taluk limits, and 199 awards of ₹20,000 cash for other taluk limits.
