Karnataka HC forms SIT to probe alleged KPSC recruitment irregularities

The Karnataka High Court constituted a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by senior IPS officer Alok Kumar to probe alleged irregularities in the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC) recruitment. The court also appointed IPS officers Divya V Gopinath, Anup A Shetty, Kushal Chouksey, and Kshama Mishra as SIT members. The SIT was directed to hand over all records and materials gathered by the CID and other police to the court. Furthermore, the SIT must cooperate with the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) and submit a progress report every 30 days.
