Karnataka HC directs state to operationalize district committees to tackle illegal immigration

The Karnataka High Court directed the State Government to place on record the details of constitution and operationalization of District Level Committees to deal with illegal immigration. The court emphasized that these committees must function in every district where the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) mandates them. The State Government must ensure these committees are constituted and made functional in all districts within three months of receiving the order.
