Karnataka Govt issues circular to speed up file disposal in departments

The Karnataka government has introduced the 'Prajasa Seva Yojana' to address public grievances. Furthermore, the government has issued an order to accelerate file disposal within departments. The Department of Administration and Revenue issued a circular mandating strict adherence to the Ministry Manual–2005 rules for speedy file disposal. The circular specifies that officers and superiors must dispose of new correspondence or files related to any case on the same day. It also mandates that monthly disposal reports must be prepared by junior assistants and equivalent staff by the 3rd working day of every month.
