Karnataka Cabinet approves procurement of 800 diesel buses for three RTCs

The Karnataka Cabinet approved the procurement of 800 diesel buses for the state’s three Road Transport Corporations (RTCs) on Tuesday, at a cost of Rs 304 crore. KSRTC will procure 400 buses, NWKRTC will get 200 buses, and BMTC will procure 200 city buses. The buses are expected to be delivered in three to six months, pending the completion of the tender process, which is expected in about 45 days.
