Kannada Rajyotsava celebrated at Kanteerava Stadium; CM DK Shivakumar hoisted flags

The 71st Kannada Rajyotsava was celebrated at Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru, where CM DK Shivakumar hoisted the flag. During the event, the national anthem 'Vande Mataram' was sung for two verses. CM DK Shivakumar performed the flag hoisting of both the national and state flags for the first time. The Minister for School Education, Madhu Bangarappa, stated that the Kannada language has thousands of years of history and is a symbol of Kannadiga pride.
