Kannada groups protest metro extension to Tamil Nadu border

Kannada groups have strongly protested the metro project extension up to the Tamil Nadu border. Activists Watal Nagaraj and Karave Praveen Shetty alleged that extending the metro to the border would turn Bengaluru into a 'mini Tamil Nadu' due to increased Tamil presence. They warned that the government must immediately abandon the plan to prepare a DPR for metro extension from Bommasandra to Attibele.
