Joint action committee of transport employees protests over pending salaries and demands salary revision

The joint action committee of employees from BMTC, KSRTC, NWBKRC, and KKRC protested again in Bengaluru. They demanded the immediate release of 38 months of pending salary from the COVID period, 26 months of salary arrears, and 18 months of salary arrears for retired and current employees that should have been given in 2020. The committee warned that if the government does not settle the demands by October 22, they will resort to direct action.
