Illegal beauty treatments and food safety violations detected at a Bengaluru hotel

Health department officials conducted a raid on Panchatara Hotel on Richmond Road, Bengaluru, confirming the provision of illegal weight-loss beauty treatments in the rooms. During the raid, supplements, weight-loss pills, and empty boxes of 'Lipo Lab PPC' injections were seized. The department noted that the boxes lacked the mandatory 'CDACSCO' import or manufacturing license number. Health Minister U.T. Khadar warned the public to only receive injections or treatments from registered hospitals or clinics.
