IIT Guwahati team wins overall prize at 'LAM Research Challenge– 2026' held at PES University in Bengaluru

The IIT Guwahati team won the overall prize at the 'LAM Research Challenge– 2026' competition held at PES University in Bengaluru. The 3rd edition of the competition, organized by America's 'LAM Research' Semiconductor Company to identify young technologists across the country, saw participation from over 3,000 students from 189 colleges across 23 states and four Union Territories. The IIT (Ropar) from Punjab and the IIT (Calicut) from Kerala secured the second and third positions, respectively. ₹10 lakh in cash prizes were distributed after LAM Research India Managing Director Ranganish Raghavan announced the winners.
