Hoskote-Hosur STRR road to open soon; what is the reason for the delay?

The Hoskote-Hosur Satellite Town Ring Road (STRR) connecting to the Tamil Nadu border is expected to be completed by March 2027 due to construction delays at a major railway overbridge near Hoskote. To avoid waiting for the complete overbridge, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) plans to open the 21 km stretch in phases by December. NHAI plans to install a 59-meter girder in the Hoskote-to-Hosur stretch by December, while the next girder is expected by March 2027.
