High Court rules a wife earning ₹54,700 monthly is ineligible for spousal maintenance; Arrest made in Bengaluru for cheating

The High Court ruled that a wife who is educated and earning sufficient income to support herself is ineligible for spousal maintenance from her husband. The court also reported the arrest of Chanwar Ali (36), who was arrested by Bagalur Police for allegedly cheating a woman of gold ornaments and cash worth lakhs of rupees using cheap flight tickets. The accused was apprehended near Mayura Bakery in Bagalur, having cheated a woman from Rajasthan on the 14th.
