Health Minister warns private hospitals against withholding bodies over pending bills

Health Minister U.T. Khadar warned private hospitals that they should not withhold a body merely because of pending bills. During a meeting with the private hospitals' association (Phana) on Thursday, the minister also stressed that displaying a mandatory treatment price list is essential. Khadar stated that the government is committed to forming a transparent system to prevent patients from being exploited by excessive hospital charges.
