Health Department takes major step to curb fraud between hospitals and insurance companies

The Karnataka Health Department has taken a major step to curb the issue of patients with health insurance facing difficulties paying treatment costs. Following instructions from Health Minister U.T. Khadar, the department plans to hold a meeting with insurance companies. The goal of this action is to ensure that patients with insurance policies receive full treatment costs and to prevent excessive billing by hospitals.
