HCLTech CPO: Freshers need better practical AI application skills

HCLTech's Chief People Officer, Ramachandran Sundararajan, stated that while over 95% of the firm's employees are equipped with AI skills, freshers enter the workforce with varying levels of AI exposure. He noted that strengthening industry readiness and practical application skills is necessary as AI reshapes business. The company added over 1,050 freshers in Q1 FY27.
