Halasuru Festival to become 'Festival of Development' this year

The Halasuru Festival, scheduled for two days, will focus on development initiatives rather than just local cultural celebrations. During the festival, programs include laying the foundation for a community health center, and inaugurating a convention center and a skill development center. Minister for Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs and MLA of Shivajinagar constituency, Rizwan Arshad, stated that Halasuru, one of Bengaluru's oldest areas, requires comprehensive development. The festival will showcase development work completed in the area, including water and sewerage pipelines, according to D.K. Shivakumar.
