Guidelines issued for controlling fake medicine networks

The Central Drug Control Authority has released guidelines for controlling fake medicine networks. Pharmacists and retailers must strictly follow the law regarding medicine sales, ensuring drugs are not sold without a doctor's prescription as per Drugs Rules 1945. Hospitals and healthcare institutions must implement systems for judicious use and monitoring of painkillers and antibiotics.
