Greater Bengaluru Authority SC alleges private builders misused e-khatas for illegally constructed flats

Greater Bengaluru Authority Special Commissioner (Revenue) Munish Moudgil wrote to the five corporations stating that the suspension of two officers was due to creating illegal and ineligible new e-khatas. He alleged that private builders misused the e-property system to issue new e-khatas for illegally constructed flats. Basavaraj Magi, Revenue Officer-in-Charge, KR Puram Division, Bangalore East City Corporation, was suspended on November 3, and Lokmata D S, Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Officer-in-Charge, Kengeri Division, Bengaluru West City Corporation, was suspended on November 4.
