Government to Still Delay Decision on Contract Worker Wage Hike: Workers in Adakattari!

Thousands of government workers working on contract basis in Karnataka are still awaiting a wage hike based on the minimum wage notification issued in May. The government formed a cabinet subcommittee in August to review this matter after industrialists met with CM D.K. Shivakumar. However, despite three months passing, the committee has not held its first meeting, leaving the workers in uncertainty.
